The official mission of the UW-BC Foundation is to enhance student and community educational opportunities through the direct support of scholarships and campus initiatives at UW-Barron County. 
Distinguished alumni 2015
Each year the UW-BC Foundation proudly recognizes an alum whose achievements and contributions make a significant impact on their professions and communities.  Kathe Nickleby (middle) was the 2015 honoree. Educational Assistance Through Scholarship (E.A.T.S.) is an annual Foundation fundraising gala offering  foods prepared by area restaurants and UW-BC faculty/staff. The event also include music, raffles, and silent and live auctions. Here Mark Conrad tries to 'steal' some of Mary Hoeft's homemade beef bourguignonne.

Scholarships for incoming, continuing, and transferring students are funded through donations to the Foundation by area businesses, individuals, civic organizations, and the UW-BC faculty and staff.

Distinguished Alum Award Nominations Open!

UW-Barron County alumni whose achievements and contributions make a significant impact in their professions and communities are recognized each year by the UW-Barron County Foundation. Nominations for the 2017 UW-BC Distinguished Alumni award will be received online, by mail or in person at the campus through Monday, April 10l, 2017.

All alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Barron County are eligible. Selection takes place in April and will be announced publicly at UW-BC Commencement ceremonies on May 19, 2017.

Nominations should cite achievement, recognition or honors from employment or community service or both, and will give preference to nominees who, over a period of time, improve the lives of individuals, communities, regions, or nations.
